Pastel and Studs

I got this new ChiChi nail polish and was wondering how I could use it?

So I ended it pairing it with some of my favourite pastel shades...

Grey: ChiChi - Just Chillaxin
Turquoise: Australis - Aqua
Purple: Rimmel - Marshmallow Heaven
Yellow: Face of Australia - Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy
Pink: ChiChi - Blonde Ambition
Blue: Essence - Absolutely Blue

I painted each finger a different colour and then used masking tape to create a line down the middle and painted the one half with the greyish colour.

I then topped it with a silver square studs from Born Pretty.

Yellow Stripes...

So I am loving my new yellow nail polish. And I have been trying to find a way to use it in new and different ways. So I have gone to my trusty striping tape and create my new masterpiece.

Combining these two colour were a GREAT idea.

I started off by painting four of my fingers (minus the pinky) in the beautiful light yellow, Face of Australia - Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy.
Then once the polish has dried I had lots of fun coming up with some funky designs. Then I put on a layer of NYC - Park Ave.

I obviously did the opposite for my pinky, starting with the grayish colour first and then the yellow on top.

I have so much fun using striping tape, simply for the fact that you have no idea how each design in going to turn out. And the feeling you get when you take of the tape and it has worked AND looks great.

What do you think?

Happy Easter!!

We have come to that time of the year where we are all visited by a man sized bunny who hides chocolate eggs in our gardens (or conveniently in our living rooms if its raining).
Yes it is Easter... the only time of the year where eating ridiculous amounts of chocolate is a-okay! I myself have already stocked up on a few bags of mini eggs. Mmmmm!
So to celebrate this egg-cellent day I have had some fun with some pastel colours....

I had lots of fun buying some new pastel colours for my Easter inspired nails. I used my trusty dotting tool for most of the work and a very fine paint brush for the bunny.

For my middle finger, I started with a pale yellow and used a sponge to sponge on some of my blue and pink.

Blue - Gold by Giles (from New Look) in Pale Blue
Pink - BC.Co in Shade 1
Yellow - Face of Australia - Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
